Sina News  July 24    According to insiders, Rising is going to offer free service for Chinese individual users, in a certain period of one year.

The relevant preparation has been complete and Rising will officially announce the service soon. This is the first time for Rising to take such a big preferential action aiming at individual users.

Rising has been the No.1 in Chinese antivirus market, the company once took 80% of the market share. But some of the Rising¡¯s clients were attracted away by the half-year free service shipped jointly by the two companies of Qihoo360 and Kaspersky. After the ending of the half-year free service, Qihoo360 continues its free service through the cooperation with BitDefener. Some insiders believe Rising¡¯s action is a strategy to win back its clients.
